Deanna Boyette, MD: Deanna Boyette opened Boyette Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, PA in July 2010. She is no stranger to Greenville, NC having practiced in Eastern North Carolina since 1994. She is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, knee and foot and ankle. Dr. Boyette is committed to providing excellent and personalized care to patients. She is a graduate of East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency and fellowship training at Duke University and her undergraduate work at Stanford University. She is a clinical professor in the Department of Surgery at East Carolina University and is involved in resident education. In 2007 she returned to Duke University to complete a foot and ankle fellowship to advance foot and ankle care in Eastern North Carolina. Dr. Boyette is married to Dr. Chris Mann. Her hobbies include hiking, yoga, travel and overall fitness as well as working with kettle bells. She has served on multiple community charity boards both locally and regionally. Dr. Boyette’s free time is spent mostly outside enjoying the wonderful activities that Eastern NC has to offer.

Mark Kelley, MD: Mark Kelley joined Boyette Orthopedics in April 2021.  He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Notre Dame. He completed medical school and his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Kelley has over 30 years’ experience in Orthopedics and has developed a passion for hip, knee, and shoulder replacements.  He is well versed in general orthopedic surgery as well as sports medicine.  Originally from Ann Arbor Michigan, Dr Kelley and his wife Michelle are excited to join the Greenville, NC community and be closer to their 4 sons and family. During his free time Dr. Kelley enjoys reading, biking, gardening and being near the water. Dr. Kelley is committed to providing the quality orthopedic care that is the trademark of Boyette Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Gabrielle Perryman PA-C, ATC: Gabrielle is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant originally from Cleveland, OH. She believes that movement and physical activity are essential to optimal wellness. Her background as a former collegiate athlete and Athletic Trainer has given her insight into some of the barriers patients must overcome on their road to recovery. Gabrielle completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She received her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Ball State University. Gabrielle is passionate about her relationship with God, physical fitness, mentorship, and impacting her community. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, and weight lifting.

Laura Fisher, MSW, Office Manager: Laura was born and raised here in Eastern NC. She has worked in the medical field since 2008. She received her undergraduate degree in 2008 and her master’s degree in 2018, both from East Carolina University. She is married and loves spending time with her children. She enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking and can be found visiting the North Carolina mountains during her free time.

Shavonda Roberts, Front Desk & Medical Records: Shavonda has been in the medical field for over 10 years. She is the mother of a beautiful daughter and enjoys reading and movie night with her family.

Kelly Warner, Radiology and Clinic: Kelly was born and raised in eastern NC. She received her radiology degree from Pitt Community College in 2015 and has worked in orthopedics since 2018. In her free time she loves to read, spend time with her family and be out on the river enjoying the water.

Sarah Carson, Front Desk and Referrals: Sarah was born and raised in Greenville, NC. She has a medical office administration degree from Pitt Community college and has worked in the medical field since 2010. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her son and family.

Shima Faison, Surgical Coordinator / Clinic: Shima was born in Bertie County. She started in orthopedics in 1996. She has received her Associates degree in health information technology from Pitt Community College and a BA in Health Care Administration from Ashford University. She enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family.
